In a niche fragrance shop in the heart of Prague, I was a little surprised to find that they only carried one local brand. Kintsugi, which of course borrows its name from Japan, is in fact, a Czech brand. They don’t have a flagship but they are found in many niche perfume shops. Their collection of perfumes are all bold and beautifully layered.

Toam is probably one of the more intense perfumes in my collection. The mix of citrus and sea salt and amber make for a warm sensual fragrance that feels right for a winter evening out.
