Forward’s boutique in HCMC is damn near impossible to find. You have to walk into what looks to be an apartment building, duck behind street vendors, walk past motorbikes parked in a tunnel, and then find a nondescript stairway in the back. Up to the second floor you’re suddenly in a row of cute boutiques and cafes. And all the way at the end is Forward. A gem of a shop with beautiful perfumes and exquisite candles hand poured into porcelain cups.

I picked up Jasmine Bomb and Oolong of the Chamber. Jasmine Bomb smells like dried jasmine petals mingling with green tea and musk, bolder and more sophisticated than typical jasmine scents. Oolong of the Chamber features a milky darker oolong with a slightly sweet dry down that feels so intimate and decadent. Like a little something sweet with a tea night cap.
