L’eau rouge Nature | Henrik Vibskov | Denmark

I am a sucker for good packaging and this one has the main character tomato girl summer energy we all need. Henrik Vibskov has boutiques in a few cities and carries a nice curation of niche perfumes, but I knew in my heart I needed this tomato, which I opted to pick up in Copenhagen even though they have a shop in NYC.

they have two tomato perfumes, both of which are topped with a tomato and packaged within a stylized tomato can. They say we need more whimsy and they understood the assignment. The scent itself is light, fresh, smells like a ripe summer afternoon. When you finally duck into the shade after hours in the sun and eat a fresh tomato salad and cold melon and iced water is the best thing you’ve ever tasted. The longevity isn’t great, but perhaps it is like the season it represents, fleeting.
