Liberta perfume is a fragrance shop for true fragrance lovers. The Nakameguro shop is half boutique half laboratory. They’re known for custom perfumes, which you can book ahead of time, but they also have some “pret a porter” perfumes. It’s organized like a library based on scent families so if you know what you like it’s pretty easy to know where to start.

I picked up the Soft Oriental EDP. They keep their names pretty literal. Iris and white musk anchor the scent while complemented by light florals and a hint of citrus. It smells rich and alluring in that can’t quite place it kind of way.
