d’Annam is really putting Vietnam on the map for niche perfumes, considering the buzz it’s been getting. Their collection comes in chapters inspired by place (Vietnam, Japan and most recently China) and cover a range: from gourmands to sweet to floral to amber. Many of them are remarkably realistic, transportative, but with depth to make them very wearable.
While TikTok is still obsessed with the Chinese brands for tea and osmathus scents, d’Annam has a damn good one. Pomelo oolong married the bright subtle sweet of pomelo with fruity osmanthus and floral oolong for the juicy tea accord I crave.
