France is basically the fragrance capital of the world. So there’s no shortage of interesting fragrance brands with roots in France. Hima Jomo is a brand based in Paris but inspired by the Himalayas. Their collection of fragrances all carry the warmth of incense and spices. They smell timeless yet contemporary.

I had gone to the boutique in the Marais with the full intent of purchasing the Tchai perfume, in my obsession for tea scents. But after exploring the collection a bit more, I ended up picking up Lhasa Rose. A floral woody scent, rose lingering with incense and amber. It’s been on rotation all winter, pairing well with candlelight and cozy meals.
