HCMC: rue miche

definitely a top 10 retail experience I’ve encountered. and it’s only partly because an American salary goes far in Vietnam. it’s basically one sprawling experiential space with a cafe, avant garde art (very gentle monster coded), and a lottt of amazing local designers. you can try things on, collect your order tickets from each brand station, and then bring it over to the register to get it all packed up. this is my disneyland. if you shop in one place in HCMC make it here. budget a couple hours though.
